1 Simple Way to Create Productively
I’ve been so obsessed with simple cards lately. I don’t know why but it probably takes me longer to make these cards than it took me to make my fully embellished cards. Do you want to know ‘1 Simple Way to Create Productively?‘ It dawned on me yesterday. I’m not picking my papers first! I’ve been coloring my images and then going through finding things that match my colors and the theme of my card. I used to cut and layout out cards for weeks at a time then sticking the card in a ziplock and when I had time to work on a project I would bring out that ziplock and I had no cutting – just color and glue!
I was so much more productive when I did this! So That’s my goal for the next couple days. Card prep for a couple weeks.
I wanted to show you a little card I created over the weekend using some new stamps I got from Your Next Stamp, Waddles Happy Brrrrthday. I just adore this little penguin. I colored this little guy with my Copic Markers. I wanted him to look like he was sitting on ice so I left the ice lighter and made the background and sky brighter. I love the crisp look it gives, it has a very icy feel. Again, I’ve used the Doodlebug 6×6 paper pad, I love the gingham paper!!
