Adding Dots to Create Texture Using Copics
Hello there my foxy peeps! Today I have a card to share using these super cute Lawn Fawn Mom + Me Stamp Set. I adore this little set. It’s perfect for Mother’s Day which is quickly approaching. I made my card more like a Family card though. I really love the way the foxes turned out. In my previous post I was talking about how to get the different textures of animals. I wanted the orange fur to be really rough looking and then light cream color to be very soft. I think next time I’ll actually make little lines for the hair, similar to the way I did the bunny in THIS card. I tried Adding Dots to Create Texture Using Copics Here’s a list of the Copics I used.
Copics: E000, E30, E31, E33, E35, E37, E17, YR14
I kept going back to this card for a few days because I feel like it needs more. But after seeing the photos and making this post, I really like the simplicity of this card. I think it really focuses on the foxes and who doesn’t love those Lawn Fawn Foxes in the Mom + Me Stamp set! I know I love all of the animals in that set. I used my liquid pearls for the dots along the bottom. That wooden chipboard with the word ‘Lovely Day’ is from from Prima, I’ve been hoarding them and waiting for the perfect project to go along with the sayings.
Well, I hope you are inspired to try different textures on your images, such as; Adding Dots to Create Texture Using Copics. If you do I would love to see them! Post them back here so I can stop by your blog and check them out! I hope you have a ‘Lovely Day’ today.
