Creating with Lawn Fawn Stamps
Hello my crafty peeps!
Today I’m showing you a card I made Creating with Lawn Fawn Stamps. This company has gotten huge over the years and I’m so happy for Kelly and her husband!
About 7 possibly 8 years ago I was teaching a Copic Class at iCopic (now known as Marker POP) in Fountain Valley, Ca. It was the store’s Grand Opening. Kelly from Lawn Fawn was there with her new company. Every year I would stop by at CHA and look at Kelly’s booth which is always adorable! It’s so great to see her and her company so successful in this industry.
I’ve always liked sitting coloring those really challenged, detailed images and I just don’t have the time like I used to. These Lawn Fawn stamps are PERFECT. I made this adorable little card in under an hour. I used the Home Sweet Home Stamp Set. This set is seriously so stinking cute!! You can create so many different looks and as a crafter and cardmaker– versatility is AWE-SOME!
TIP: You are probably thinking — You must go through buckets of 3d foam dots! I probably would if I didn’t run out one day, then saw a cardboard box and thought I’m just going to glue my layer to the a piece of that! It makes the card so much more sturdy anyways! So don’t throw out those boxes — re-purpose them. I did use a little foam dot on the door and bird, though. 😉
Of course I colored with my Copic Markers.
- House – BG10, BG72, BG75, BG78
- Roof & Door – E44, E43, E42, W5
- Bird – Y21, Y26, Y28
