I shrunk my Waterfall Coloring page down to fit a card so I can use my new Lawn Fawn Fairy stamps! I also used the no line stamping technique when coloring all of my images, Lawn Fawn Fairy Stamps and Waterfall Coloring Page, with my Copic Markers. When I was coloring my Waterfall background I wanted to leave it simple and wasn’t really too sure how it was all going to come out, now as I am writing this post I have a ton of ideas in my head. Like creating a stone wall under the tree going down into the bushes. Also adding a Rainbow behind the tree and maybe even a reflection of the rainbow in the Waterfall. Check out my Creating a Rainbow with Copic Markers post on tips for creating rainbows. Coloring this as a night scene would look awesome, too! You can create a moon reflection in the water. So MANY possibilities with this page and I would LOVE to see them all so please tag me in any social media post if you color it! 🙂
Of course I used my Copic Markers to color my entire scene. I used Memento Desert Sand Ink on the Lawn Fawn Fairy Stamps and I used my favorite paper for Copic Markers, Cryogen Cardstock. I added some Stickles to make my Waterfall look sparkly and crystal clear!
- Tree/Bushes/Dress – YG67, G20, G24, G28,
- Dirt/ Tree Trunk/House – E59, E37, E33, E31, E30, E0000
- Flowers – BV000, BV00, BV01, BV02, BV04
- Fairy Wings/Rock – N0, N1, N3, N5
- Water – B00, B0000, BG02, BG11, N1
If you take a look at a few photos of waterfalls you will notice there’s a lot of white space especially as you go down the waterfall, along the bottom of the waterfall it’s almost fully white from all of the splashes and mist being creating by the water falling. Adding the stickles to the water really helps the effect of the splashes of the water. Check out my tutorial of Coloring a Splash using Copic Markers!
