Avery Elle Stay Cool Card with Nuvo Backgrounds

Avery Elle Stay Cool Card with Nuvo Backgrounds

Avery Elle Stay Cool Card with Nuvo Backgrounds

Hello my crafty friends! I had so much fun making this Avery Elle Stay Cool Card with Nuvo Backgrounds. The adorable stamp set I’m using is called Stay Cool and it’s from the New Avery Elle release.

In my video tutorial below, you will see how I used my Strawberry Champagne Glimmer Paste, Frostbite Glacier Paste, Embellishment Mousse Poppy Pink, Atlantis Burst and Meteorite Shower Shimmer Powder and some Nuvo Glitter Drops Enchanting Pink and Lilac Whisper. I just love creating backgrounds like these. Since it can be a little messy you can always create many different backgrounds and then keep them for when you need to create a quick card – the hard part will be done!

I’m also using the Nuvo Paint Brushes, Spatula and Spray bottle!

I stamped my images in Memento Black Ink using my Misti and stamping on to my Copic Xpress it Blending Card. Here’s a list of the Copics I used on my card:

Bear – B32, B34, B37, B39, E44, E43, E42, E41, E40, N3, N5

Cat – E43, E42, E41, E40, R20, R81, R85, BG11

Bunny – N1, N3, R20, BG13, BG11

Dog – E44, E43, E42, E41, E40, N1, N3, N5, R81, R85

I’ve recently added a Copic Question and Answer Section here on my site — Check it out HERE!

These backgrounds are so much fun to make and honestly you can’t go wrong. It is quite messy though, so I recommend putting down some plastic or getting one of those boxes to shield the splatters from your surrounding work space. Another great idea is to just make backgrounds — for future projects, that way all the messy part is done. 🙂

I hope you enjoyed my video today for ScrapbookPal.com.
