Create your Own Backgrounds with Copic Markers

Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  ‘Anything Goes’ Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week, too.

This week the challenge is ‘Create a Scene’!
We are showcasing Honey Bee Stamps this week. You don’t have to use anything to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used. I’m using my Honey Bee Stamp Set, Build a Bee. I decided to sketch and color my entire background freehand using my Copic Markers. Sketching and creating backgrounds with my Copics is so much fun — it’s probably my favorite thing to do.

I used my Misti to stamp my image in desert sand memento ink  (to get that no line technique) and stamped onto my Copic Xpress Blending Card. I used the following Copic Markers:

Tree Branch – E37, E33, E31, E30

Leaves – YG13, YG17, G20

Beehive – E33, Y23, Y28, Y35, E37

Sky – B00, B000

Bee – N0, N1, N3, N5, N9, Y23, Y28, R32, R30,
