Hero Arts and Distress Oxide Video Tutorial

Hero Arts and Distress Oxide Video Tutorial

Welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  ‘Card + Matching Envelope’ Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week, too.

This week the challenge is ‘Clean and Simple’!
We are showcasing Hero Arts Products this week. You don’t have to use anything to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used. I’m using this stamp set called Wish I May. I love this set and that’s so rare because I can’t color it. These silhouettes bring me right back to when I was a kid. Ahhh..memories.

I’m using my Distress Oxide inks to create this background. Here’s the colors I used. I did forget one of the colors in my photo.

Stormy Sky, Wild Honey, Picked Raspberry, Evergreen Bough, Tumbled Glass.

I used my Mini Misti to stamp each stamp perfectly in it’s spot using my Versafine Black ink to get that nice crisp image. Then I used my white gel pen to create ‘sparkles’ as each color in the background shifts to a different color. I LOVE the way it turned out.

Here’s a short video on making my card. Enjoy!
