How to Color a Rain Background using Copic Markers
Hello my crafty friends! Today is my son’s 19th Birthday! I seriously cannot believe it. My baby boy’s last year in his teens. I’m so sad and yet extremely proud of the young man I have raised. I couldn’t have asked for a better son. I wanted to make him a card and since he’s always sending me funny memes with animals I wanted to make him a funny card that I know he’ll put up in his room.
Ok, let’s get to the crafty goods. I’m using this super cute image from C.C. Designs, Grouchy Kitty. I decided to share How to Color a Rain Background using Copic Markers since I have quite a few coloring animal fur tutorials on here already. I really love the way this turned out and I hope you enjoy watching the process of how I created the background.
Here’s the list of the Copic Markers I used to color. I also printed my image on Copic Xpress it Blending Card.
- Cat – E1, E33, E35, E71, N7, W5, W3,
- Rain Coat – YG17, YG13, G28, N9
- Ground – E33, E31, YG17, G28,
- Rain – B21, B23, B24, N7,
This was such a fun card to create. I love how much the background really pulls the scene together and brings this little grouchy kitty to life.
