How to use the Concord and 9th Turnabout Stamp Set

Hey there! I’m super excited to be guest designing on the Concord and 9th BLOG this month. The December Release is just AWESOME! Today I’m sharing a card set I made using the NEW Hugs and Kisses Turnabout Stamp Set.There’s also a coordinating Hugs and Kisses Turnabout Die Set. I’m also using the NEW Monster Love Stamp and Die Set. I’ll have a coloring tutorial and more with that stamp set later in the month. 🙂

I have made a set of 4×4 cards showcasing the Hugs and Kisses Turnabout Stamp Set. I made some sponged backgrounds using my Distress Oxide Inks, Hickory Smoke, Evergreen Bough and Picked Raspberry.

Of course I had to color an image for my set of cards. I stamped these little monsters in Memento Desert Sand Ink so I can get that no line look and I stamped onto my Copic Xpress it Blending Card. I used my White Gel Pen for some highlights and to make those little teeth stand out more.

Here’s the following Copic Markers to color my monsters.

BG11, BG72, BG75, BG78, V01, V05, V06 V09, RV32, RV34, Y35

This stamp set is so much fun and you can get so many different looks depending on how many times you turn your paper, what colors you use and if you decide to use a die. The die set is great because I just love sentiment dies and you really can’t go wrong with ‘Hugs and Kisses’ it’s perfect for all year round.

Okay, you’re probably like wait, what do you mean turn my paper. I’ve put together a little video explaining how to use this die.

Check it out below.

I hope you enjoyed my tutorial and project today. Be sure to pop on over on the Concord and 9th BLOG to see more inspiration!
